NOVA BCA Classic / Tournament Entry Fee

Purchase entry for event 2 in the periodic series of BCA regional singles tournaments. Set for Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Whetzel’s Billiards in Manassas, VA. $40 for BCA members to enter (20% goes to house/NOVA BCA, 80% to player prizes). $65 for non-BCA members (where you receive a NOVA BCA membership for entering the event). Purchase a $25 NOVA BCA membership in addition to this entry to participate. Player meeting at noon, matches at 1pm. This tournament will be capped at the first 32 players to pay. No obligation to join a team for Wednesday night weekly play or shoot other tournaments. Professionals encouraged to enter. Double elimination format. Race to 5 in 8-Ball on the winner’s side. Race to 5 in 9-Ball on the loser’s side. Potential for a second-chance tournament for those eliminated early. BCA in-game rules apply with the addition of a true “called shot” (includes caroms/kisses in call). Cash awarded to the top 6 finishers (given 32 player field, modified down otherwise). Points earned by all participants. Points count towards your ranking in “The Century Club” — our list of the top Northern Virginia poolplayers. In January 2011, we’ll award an impressive 3′ silver and gold trophy cup to the player with the highest points accumulated in 2010.

In order to participate in NOVA BCA tournaments, you must first purchase an annual membership – then take care of the entry fee for the tournament. Annual membership is a once-per-year purchase. Those joining a team in league play must first purchase an annual membership – then take care of green fees of $10 for each match as she/he is chosen to play by the team’s captain. This is payable Wednesday night to the captain.
